Help us provide meaningful outreach beyond the walls of our church building.
As part of our commitment to be God’s people in the world, we provide and participate in a variety of local, regional and global outreach and mission opportunities. Individuals of all ages with a desire to serve others are welcome to participate in these ministries.
Provides gently used clothing to children and adults free of charge. The Clothes Closet is generally open the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. to Noon or by appointment. However, please check our Calendar of Events for up-to-date times/dates.

Hartford Community Lunch
This meal is served at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Hartford at 11:00 a.m. on the last Saturday of each month.
The meal is open to individuals of all ages and situations and provides an opportunity to feed both the body and the soul.
First United Methodist Church partners with other local congregations to serve and provide food for this meal.

Family Promise of Washington County
This nonprofit agency works with churches throughout the county to provide shelter, food and care to families in need. First United Methodist Church hosts families about four times per year for a one week period. During the week of service, volunteers provide meals, fellowship and overnight support to those in need.
Summerfield United Methodist Church (728 E. Juneau Ave., Milwaukee)
This congregation, provides a meal outreach program that serves Saturday dinner to the hungry and homeless in downtown Milwaukee. First United Methodist Church has been a partner in this ministry since it began and members of our congregation help to provide hospitality and food to those in need.
