Serve God by serving others around the world; be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Adult Mission Opportunities

Do you want to serve God by serving others? Adult mission trips are a great way to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. There are many adult Volunteer In Mission opportunities!

Prior missions lead by members of our congregations have included:  agricultural and veterinary support to Mujila Falls Agriculture Centre in Zambia, a couple of teams helping with the construction of buildings in Haiti, and a couple of teams doing light construction and vacation bible school in Peru.

Upcoming mission opportunities lead by members of our congregations will include: An International Mission to Peru in July of 2018, Disaster Response Training Information and Emergency Response Team opportunities.

There is an abundance of other adult Volunteer In Mission opportunities through the Wisconsin Methodist Conference and through the North Central Jurisdiction: in-state, nationally, and internationally!  Check it out!

Youth Mission Opportunities

Participation in mission and service activities is often the first chance youth have to experience being God’s people in the world. Through these spiritual growth opportunities youth can apply what is learned in Christian education to real world situations, interact with people of different ages and situations, and share fun and fellowship with their peers. Each year First United Methodist Church makes available a variety of youth mission/service opportunities.
