United Methodist Women (UMW)

UMW Booklet

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Members belong to a circle or can be a member at large. Currently there are three circles, Hannah, Hope and Mary. They meet at different times to meet people’s schedules. Five times a year, we all meet to conduct business and have mission programs.
Two major fundraising events are held each year to help support our mission projects. A Spring Salad Luncheon in held in April and a Fall Salad Luncheon/Craft Fair/Produce Sale is held in October.
We invite any woman to become a member of United Methodist Women. Program books are available in the church office. For more information please talk to the president or membership chair, or leave your name with the office.  We hope you will consider joining this worthwhile church organization.

 

Hannah Circle   Meets every Second Thursday at 1pm
Hope Circle   Meets every Second Monday at 7pm or Third Wednesday at 1pm
Mary Circle   Meets every Third Tuesday at 7pm

 

Daytime and evening meetings are scheduled for the convenience and to meet the needs of all the membership. General Meetings are held six times a year when all circles meet together for various programs and study.
