Messy Church...What is it??
  • Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality.  
  • It is held on the first WEDNESDAY of the month (September - May) from 6-7:30pm.  It suits people who don't already belong to a church (as well                                               as those who do!).  Includes dinner for the entire                                         family, crafts, story, fellowship and guaranteed                                             FUN!  You don't need to be a member of FUMC or                                       any church to attend.  All are welcome to join us!

​Messy Church is an all-age fresh expression of church that offers counter-cultural transformation of family life through families coming together to be, to make, to eat and to celebrate God.

Rice Packing Event:

The Mission Team at First United Methodist Church in Hartford will be hosting a rice meal packing event on Saturday, April 22nd from 9 am - Noon. These meals will be sent out to non-profits internationally or for disaster relief. Come and join us! You can pack for an hour or more! Get a team together of 10 and sign up for a line.
