Ministries
As part of our commitment to be God’s people in the world, we provide and participate in a variety of local, regional and global outreach and mission opportunities. Individuals of all ages with a desire to serve others are welcome to participate in these ministries.

The Clothes Closet
Provides gently used clothing to children and adults free of charge  Hours vary, but are posted each month of the The Clothes Closet Facebook page or by appointment. Donations can be made by contacting the church office.

​Hartford Community Lunch
This free, community meal is served at 11:00 a.m. on the last Saturday of each month in our Fellowship Hall. The meal is open to individuals of all ages and financial situations.  We provide an opportunity to feed both the body and the soul. First United Methodist Church partners with other local congregations to prepare, serve and provide food for this meal.

Family Promise of Washington County
This nonprofit agency works with churches throughout the county to provide food and care to families in need.  First United Methodist Church provides food four times per year to the West Bend facility.
